A Moroccan gallery,
a contemporary vision
Noran Gallery was born from a simple conviction: contemporary creation and Moroccan craft share the same demand — for matter, for the gesture, and for transmission.
Founded by Amel and Antoine Jourdan in Marrakech, in close collaboration with Studio Bibi, the gallery presents the artists it represents, accompanies collectors around the world, and develops art-furniture creations conceived in dialogue with local workshops.
A dialogue between creation and craft
For several years, Antoine Jourdan has been developing a practice dedicated to contemporary creation and to the dialogue between artists, craftspeople and collectors.
Now based in Marrakech, he and Amel founded Noran Gallery as a space of encounter and recognition. The gallery presents international contemporary artists while giving an essential place to the Moroccan scene, rich with a strong, evolving identity.
His commitment is rooted, above all, in the valorisation of Moroccan craft, which he considers an exceptional savoir-faire. Through his projects, he seeks to reveal the work of artisans whose unique gestures, mastery and sensitivity give rise to singular pieces.
In parallel, he develops bespoke art-furniture creations in close collaboration with local artisans and partners such as Studio Bibi for textile. Each piece is conceived as an encounter between matter, technique and vision, where tradition and contemporary creation answer one another.
Through Noran Gallery, Antoine Jourdan focuses on highlighting the artists he collaborates with around the world, while anchoring his work in a territory and a savoir-faire he wishes to share widely.
Fifteen years bridging
artists and collectors
For more than fifteen years, Antoine Jourdan has accompanied and represented contemporary artists, building a direct, privileged link between creation and collection.
This role as agent allows the gallery to connect collectors with artists of singular worlds, making unique works or bespoke projects accessible. Each collaboration can give rise to specific pieces, conceived in dialogue with the collector's expectations and the artist's sensibility.
Beyond the introduction itself, this approach is founded on exchange, trust and the shared will to build unique projects, where every work becomes an encounter.
Made-to-measure pieces,
shaped with the workshops
All the creations developed are conceived as bespoke, each piece unique by nature. Made in solid wood and paired with textiles woven in Morocco according to specific savoir-faire, they carry the variations that make their singularity.
While certain pieces may be produced in limited edition, most projects answer particular requests, designed in close collaboration with each collector to fit fully within their interior.
In parallel, furniture creations also emerge from collaborations with the artists the gallery represents, giving rise to unique pieces presented within Noran Gallery.
This approach reflects a will to bring together local craft, artistic creation and contemporary design, in a constant dialogue between matter, gesture and inspiration.
A complete approach: art, design and craft
Noran Gallery, based in Marrakech, exists to present international contemporary artists, drawn from different horizons and disciplines, while highlighting the richness of the Moroccan art scene.
The gallery also develops art-furniture collections designed by Antoine Jourdan, in collaboration with Studio Bibi and the artists he represents. These pieces, between design and artistic creation, follow an ongoing exploration of matter and savoir-faire.
Out of personal pursuit, a selection of vintage furniture and collection pieces may also be presented, and we are happy to accompany collectors in sourcing or commissioning specific works.
Through this whole, Noran Gallery offers an integrated approach blending contemporary art, design and craft. Please reach out for any further information.
