Collectible Design

Twentieth-century design, in dialogue with art.

In Marrakech, Noran Gallery enriches its programme with a carefully selected collection of furniture from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Complementing the artworks on display, these original, authentic and sought-after pieces are chosen for the quality of their design, craftsmanship and history.

Noran × Passé Simple

From Knokke-le-Zoute to Marrakech

To build this selection, Noran works with Passé Simple Vintage Gallery, based in Knokke-le-Zoute, Belgium, and directed by Christophe Declercq. Recognised for its work with vintage furniture and collectible design, the gallery also presents exhibitions devoted to artists and makers such as Georges Pelletier and Caroline Rennequin. Its openness to contemporary design is also reflected in a collaboration with Axel Chay.

Together, the two galleries seek out distinctive pieces and create settings in Marrakech where furniture, artworks and collectible objects enter into a natural dialogue. Each piece is selected for its identity, craftsmanship and lasting quality.

Noran’s approach to vintage furniture favours pieces that can inhabit a contemporary interior while retaining the strength and character of their era. It reflects the gallery’s wider commitment to unique pieces, craftsmanship and works that stand the test of time.
