Presented by Noran Gallery as part of Caroline Rennequin's representation, this gouache unfolds the singular chromatic language the artist has been building since her That's All Folks! series of 2020, 301 gouaches drawn from nature and colour, and continues to enrich for exhibitions and bespoke commissions.
Caroline Rennequin concurrently pursues a multidisciplinary personal artistic practice, in which questions of the foreign, the intimate, and the feminine, as well as the relationships between craftsmanship, popular culture, non-Western art, and contemporary art, hold a prominent place.
This is evidenced by her latest series of 301 gouache paintings on paper created in 2020, titled “That's All Folks!”, centered around the universal motif of the flower.
