Studio Bibi —
Marrakech
Founded and directed by Rabii Bibi Alouani, Studio Bibi belongs to an exceptional family tradition dedicated to the creation and making of rugs since 1895. Heir to an ancestral savoir-faire, the studio preserves and reinvents the gestures, techniques and motifs that shape the richness of Moroccan craftsmanship.
Located at 40 rue Fatima Zahra in Marrakech, Studio Bibi is conceived as a space of dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation. It presents a carefully selected collection of rare pieces: antique rugs, museum-quality textile works, unique creations and contemporary productions.
The space highlights the excellence of Moroccan artisanal know-how through two complementary approaches. On one side, a collection of antique pieces and traditional rugs reflects the historic and cultural richness of ancestral techniques. On the other, the studio develops a resolutely contemporary approach, collaborating with designers and artists to create new works at the crossroads of art and design.
This vision extends into a dialogue with furniture. Studio Bibi presents design pieces developed in collaboration with Studio Antoine Jourdan, alongside revisited traditional furniture made with an exceptional level of skill and care.
More than an exhibition space, Studio Bibi is a living place where memory, creation and innovation meet, offering a sensitive reading of the evolution of Moroccan craftsmanship between heritage and modernity.
